Advisory and Oversight Bodies
- Cannabis Regulatory Advisory Committee (C-RAC): Provides input from industry participants, consumers, and community stakeholders on CCD rulemaking and policy. Meeting schedules and agendas are posted on the CCD website.
- Enforcement Bureau: Created by HB 10 (2025), this new bureau within the CCD has law enforcement powers to investigate illicit market activity, unlicensed operations, and compliance violations.

- BioTrack THC: New Mexico uses BioTrack as its seed-to-sale tracking system. All licensed operators must maintain real-time inventory tracking through the platform.
- Lab Testing: All cannabis products must pass testing for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, microbials, and residual solvents before sale. Testing is conducted by CCD-licensed testing laboratories.
